Charcoal & Oil-Paint Artist’s Austin Brand Photo Shoot | Why Branding Photography Matters

Having amazing brand photos that are personalized to you is becoming a must for business owners.

As an Austin Personal Brand Photographer, I work with you to visually craft your brand story to “show up” in your business, be the face of your brand, and demonstrate to others what your work entails— while standing out in the best way.

Your photos often mark the first impression you make on your audience. They are a main point of connection and if they’re done well, they help you build trust and establish credibility in your field and your little corner of the internet.

You are in business for yourself because you have something unique to offer, so your brand photos should speak to that. Your photos shouldn’t look like everyone else’s… they should reflect you and your beautiful nuances.

Personalized Brand Photography offers your audience a behind-the-scenes look into your world.

With intentional and strategic brand photography, you provide viewers with a glimpse into the intricacies of your work so they better connect with who you are and what you offer.

My approach to branding photography goes beyond your typical business or personal headshots. I help you think about the BIG picture. That means that in addition to the headshot photos every business owner needs, we’re also considering the many avenues of marketing for your business and helping you fill in the holes for your overall visual & content needs.

Aparna is a local Austin artist who primarily works with oil paints and graphite. For your Brand Photo Session, we create a visual story that encapsulates who you are and what you do. Here you get a sense of who Aparna is as an artist— what kind of work she creates, what inspires her.

As an Indian artist, we wanted to touch on the importance her culture plays in who she is as well— so we included a traditional sari from her personal wardrobe as one of her statement clothing pieces. We get a glimpse into her studio space, her work tools, the way she approaches and creates her artwork, and even how she moves.

With planning and thought, your business branding photos will leave a wonderful and lasting first impression— so, what do you want to say? If you’re ready, I can help!
